Kee + Janny : A Midsummer’s Night Dream | EQ Kuala Lumpur

A rare purple and orange combo!

We went for a “midsummer’s night” theme with Kee and Janny’s EQ reception, creating a whimsy foresty realm with their decor suite. Overarching deep tones evoke a sense of romance and enchantment, balanced with delicate pops of soft pastel hues. A palette evocative of moonlit forests and star-strewn meadows – we blended together shades of lavender, lilac, magenta, maroon, orange and deep purples.

We had the backdrop resemble a blank canvas splashed in vibrant colour. A uniquely curved structure formed the base, while a tapestry of assorted blooms formed a trail over the surface. Organically shaped to mimic shrubs in the wild, every stalk of flower was artfully arranged to create the eye-catching ombre.

Florals cascaded over the main table, with a rounded high centerpiece to top it all off. Not forgetting the custom mirror welcome signage with the couple’s wedding hashtag “#jannygotthekees”, “#keetojannyheart”!
