Chiau Huei + Hooi Yee : A Spring Ceremony | Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur

A whimsical spring garden was the inspiration for Chiau Huei and Hooi Yee “I Do’s”!

The couple wanted a theme that was light and colourful, perfect for an afternoon tea party. We went with pastel florals against a crisp white backdrop. Breathtaking pops of colour that stood out from the bigger items like the white carpet, table linens and chair covers. Similar to a winding stone path that one might find in a garden, we recreated a curvy path with their white carpet walkway. At the front, a towering 10x10ft arch backdrop covered in flowy white drapes and bundles of flowers.

The tablescape featured an array of wildflowers, weeds and grass that played off the enchanting ambience. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass panels, the afternoon’s soft natural light further elevated Chiau Huei and Hooi Yee’s intimate daytime affair!
