A nature’s retreat befitting for two nature lovers!
During our very first meeting with Rachel and Alex, we found that the couple shared a love for hiking, camping and the great outdoors. Having chosen Enderong Resort as their venue, we quickly knew that a tropical green design complimenting the natural forest surroundings was the way to go!
From the ceremony arch to the reception tablescape, it was as if Mother Nature blessed the couple with her gentle love. Gold accents found in the arch structure and chairs provided an eye-catching contrast against the abundant lush green. We added pops of white florals for a touch of elegance and simplicity, matching the colour of the table linens and cushions. Handwritten calligraphy was also styled on leaf signages, an added detail that we know the couple would greatly appreciate!
Bringing the meaning of a GREEN wedding to whole new level, we focused on environmentally-friendly practices once again in our design! The entire decoration setup was sponge-free, swapping hazardous flower foams for reusable chicken wire in the arrangements. The ceremony arch was also repurposed into an entrance arch / photo backdrop for the reception. A simple trick to reduce waste, plus it’s cost-efficient! A little step goes a long way and we hope our efforts will help to further minimise single-use waste and reduce the environmental impact caused by harmful materials.
A special request from the bride, Rachel wanted to include the hibiscus in her bridal bouquet. We have to say, this was a first for us as we’ve never done bridal arrangements with the National flower before! Due the flower’s short life-span, we could only freshly cut and style it into a bouquet early that morning. A slight challenge there, but don’t you just love the look of this unconventional tropical bouquet?
We truly enjoyed bringing the couple’s vision of a cozy affair in the woods to life! Our sincere wishes to Rachel and Alex as they embark on a new journey together.
